I needed a somewhat smaller insulated water bottle to put into the rack bag on my eBike. This appealed to me as it was a lot more water than the 16-20 ounce bottles while not being so large as to practically be a construction site Thermos.The hinged lid is great. It screws on and off with ease and you can give it a gentle push to click into the open position so that it won't slam into your nose when you tip the bottom of the bottle skyward to drink. The TPR carrying loop is cleverly formed so that it hugs the bottle when not in use, providing a bit of protection while not taking up appreciable space.Fit and finish is great. The powedercoat white finish has enough texture that the bottle won't slip out of your hands -- even when both it and your hands are wet. But this is a very white bottle, so expect to have to work to keep it looking clean. I don't expect any permanent staining, but pure white would not be my first choice were I working in a dirty or greasy environment.Everything about this was confidence inspiring. It came in an attractive retail box that proclaims, on the bottom, to have been "proudly printed in the U.S.A." The printing on the box highlights the features and reads like it was created by a very literate English speaker. The box is obviously designed for sale in retail stores and it has all of the kinds of information one would expect for that purpose -- height, diameter, and opening size in inches, capacity, description of the features and finish, proclamations about the performance and the features that enhance it, and so on.This is a really, really nice water bottle (I'm not a coffee drinker, but they do mention using it for hot coffee, too).I would happily recommend this water bottle and would even go so far as to say that the attractive packaging makes it quite suitable as a gift.
