My 7 year old girl loved the look of these shoes but HATED when she tried them on because the tongue wasn't sewn on at all so with the elastic laces she always has her foot into the boot, her tongue shrank down to her toe bones, and then it took forever for her to reach out and try to get her tongue back in place. To be honest I am shocked that these shoes came out of the test and into the market because they are functionally useless. Even with adult help, I couldn't even put her on her legs without curling my tongue. We sent them back as soon as possible.
