I bought several of these for my restaurant. They come with extra batteries, but the real problem is a design flaw that causes the battery to slip. This makes the product difficult to use as it has to be constantly tapped when it's not working. The problem happened to all the devices we bought and we didn't drop them on the floor. This could easily be remedied if the test bay door were designed to hold the battery in place, but that is not the case. I would spend the money on something else or would be willing to deal with this problem
