You get what you pay for

First of all about the speakers: based on the product description and some questions and answers, I could not find out whether this monitor has speakers or not before I bought it. The one I have fits. Because there is no audio input, the speakers are not connected to the computer's audio output, and audio from the computer is transmitted along with the video over the HDMI cable. Volume is reasonable, and unless you need quality audio for music, these are all the speakers you need for video calls and online content. Since you don't need external speakers, there's a tad less clutter on your desk. Cons: In my opinion, the screen has a green cast even on the brightest mode. I suspect this is due to the low blue light design. It's not scary, but it doesn't have the flashy brightness. Bezel: Of course there is a plastic bezel as well as an internal bezel on the flat panel that makes part of the screen appear dead, torn off or misaligned. It's only on the left and bottom edges; about 3/8" on the left side and 1/8" on the bottom. After some research, other buyers were amazed by this, as was I, but it's definitely part of the design and not a bug. I think for the low price this is one of the compromises, but it seems like a casual "it's good enough" design decision. If this monitor cost $100 more, it would have earned 2 stars instead of 4. Pros: no dead pixels, good viewing angles, easy setup with one-button controls, good base built-in speakers, solid stand, easy to unbox and set up.
