AMAZING VALUE - Extremely bright, fantastic image, perfect viewing angles!

I've had this monitor for about 2 months now (purchased on Cyber Monday) and I'm still in love like day one. I mainly use it for video editing with Adobe Premiere and other Adobe software. While I often edit 4K content, I don't mind that this monitor doesn't support 4K. I use this monitor with my MacBook Pro via the USB-C port, which is an AWESOME feature at this price point. Please note that you need a corresponding USB-C cable for this. Luckily I had this cable before I bought it. Screen Real Estate - 21:9 aspect ratio is nothing short of life changing. This makes multitasking of any kind much better. When using Adobe Premiere, the very long timeline and pane are so beneficial to your workflow. It has seriously made video editing more enjoyable. Plus, it's as useful for non-editing purposes as Microsoft apps. I've never used multitasking, but ever since I got this monitor, I've always used Safari side-by-side with Word documents or whatever. I also often post live streaming to one side of the monitor. color and brightness. This monitor has very accurate colors. It comes with a calibration test performed by LG to ensure the colors are accurate. This is SO important for photo and video editors. You need to know what you're sharing with clients or on social media, and inaccuracies can be disastrous. This monitor is also EXTREMELY bright. I often keep it around 50%, especially in the late afternoon. However, it's fantastic to have such a powerful and bright display. Software. The software for this TV is impressive! There is a PIP function, but I don't use it. This is because Mac OS already makes it pretty easy to do things like PIP. The app is very useful for changing monitor settings like brightness, contrast, profiles, etc. on the fly. Speakers - Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the quality of the built-in speakers as I use a separate surround sound system. The fact that it has speakers is pretty nice though! Minus - NO. Seriously, this monitor is amazing! I originally thought it came with PIP between different inputs, but unfortunately it doesn't have one. CONCLUSION. In conclusion, I highly recommend this monitor for its positive impact on my workflows and at an exceptional price. No, this is not the highest quality screen in the world. As someone who's picky about things like picture quality, I find it nice though. I recommend and will recommend to friends and colleagues. Finally, this monitor makes you feel really cool, which is really important!
