Worked on my Cadillac
Used on my 2000 Cadillac. I have used extensions with three tabs on the tool, but only two tabs engage when the retaining ring is squeezed. I used a breaker that was inserted between the extensions like a crowbar on the sheet metal of the car. In this case, the two reeds involved are not 180 degrees apart, which prevents the instrument from slipping. It only worked because this car had a trunk lid.
