Up until now I have powered the equipment on my desk from a six outlet adapter plugged into a duplex outlet in the wall. Power cords and USB power adapters. But over time, the sockets in the adapter became loose, requiring me to crawl behind the desk and change the printer plug or adapter for my charging station, etc. Swapping equipment became a nightmare. The BULL power strip with USB has solved all these problems and the six-channel duplex adapter is no longer needed. A five foot BULL power cord plugs into a wall outlet, the single cord runs neatly to the top of my desk, and the cube conveniently sits out of sight behind my monitor. The cables for my USB-powered devices are neatly coiled and plug directly into BULL's USB ports; My power cords are similarly wrapped and connected to the cube as well. The power button on the Cube makes it easy to turn off the electronics on my desk, getting rid of "vampire" current USB adapters, computers, monitors, and many other power-draining devices even when they're not in use. Because each of the three outlets is on a different side of the cube, larger adapters, like the one on my laptop, can be easily placed without blocking any of the other outlets. I will probably order another one for the trip, since hotel rooms with more than one free socket and possibly a USB port are very rare. As with any power strip, be careful not to exceed amperage limits BULL USB AC Adapter (10 amps / 1250 watts) - your table coffee pot may use a different outlet. Also note that the mechanical push-button power switch can accidentally trip if something is carelessly placed on the Cube, but this is easily avoided. Although my wife rarely comes to my desk, she quickly noticed that the cables are much less tangled. This and the convenience of this product make me happy and I would definitely recommend it to those who need a better nutritional solution.
