This only works on the negative pole, which is too short for the positive pole on my truck. If you only have one wire on the positive side, it will work for both. The first cable I used seemed an odd size, I had a hard time finding the right wrench, it also felt soft. In fact, when I unscrewed it and put it back in, it rounded off. As they come in two packs I put one in - what a difference! The 5/16 wrench fitted snugly and perfectly - I tightened it up nice and it didn't twist at all. I can only assume I got a bad one - I should have compared them when I opened the package. I went ahead and bought a Gennie GM bolt for the positive, can't tell the difference in quality yet. So the second was 5 stars, the first was 1 star but I think the first was a fluke so I would buy it again.
