WARNING The dipstick tube is not long enough for many vehicles.
This is a great vacuum pump, but the company knows the 28.5" dipstick tube isn't long enough. This should have been fixed. You can buy a 1/4 pipe and fitting and extend the pipe. After spending $63 I was disappointed. If it had a longer dipstick tube I would rate it 5 stars. My car is a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, a 1996 Dodge Van B2500; 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. 2008 Ford F-150 V-6. It only made it to my 1998 Nissan Frontier transmission pan. 1 in 5 vehicles is unacceptable. Fix OEM length!
