Perfect replacement for the original 1999 Nissan Altima GXE Temperature Gauge

My temp gauge read zero every time I pressed the gas pedal and the needle went back to center as soon as I released the gas pedal. Accelerator. This completely solved the problem and the temperature sensor returned to normal. If you have this problem, this could be the solution. The part requires a 12mm socket. The top part touched my usual socket, so I had to use a deep one. You can use an open ended wrench to avoid this problem. The temperature sensor in the Altima 99 is located in front of the upper radiator hose. I expected coolant to spurt out when replacing this part, but nothing happened. I couldn't find a torque specification in the service manual so I tightened it to about 15 ftlbs. Also, I used Teflon tape on the threads. There are no leaks yet.
