I best threw it away in the kitchen and dining room.

You get what you pay for. It was a cheap grater and it shows. The edges of the grate are rough and you have to press down hard on the food to make it grate. I threw it away and replaced it with a more expensive but much better grater.

Square blade, not easy to clog, sharper and blunt, easy to clean. The knives are particularly sharp, which guarantees easy rubbing. But it also means you have to be extra careful — nobody likes chafed knuckles.
