Review on Stroller Valco Baby Snap 4, cool gray by Gabriela Gutowska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A reliable product, quality is acceptable.

This is our second stroller and the first with a book mechanism. For six months, the mileage was about 800 kilometers. I think that I can judge the resource inherent in the design: the stroller is programmed primarily to break the mechanism for rotating the front wheels - the assembly is frankly weak. Now the wheels began to rumble, if they are hung out. Surprisingly, the handle material was not torn or greasy. The design and weight distribution are such that it is very convenient to carry the stroller with one hand, including climbing / descending stairs, difficult landscapes, such as, for example, coniferous forests, dirt roads, broken arable land, trampled land with protruding stones, moss caps. In loose sand and snow, you have to move backwards. The stroller has sufficient rigidity, and does not "play" when transporting a child on it along a humpbacked road with periodic hanging of the wheels. The plastic is of high quality, there are no cracks, despite the frequent, domestic use in not the most pleasant conditions. I really like the folding mechanism, as it provides high structural rigidity and does not fail. The dimensions allow it to be transported when folded in a roof rack.

Pros
  • The stroller is very maneuverable, allows you to spin in place, driving with one hand. The solid handle also facilitates one-handed operation. Folds up very compactly. Good move. The raincoat is comfortable, made of dense polyethylene. There is a safety strap on hand.
Cons
  • Drawbacks point by point: 1) The foot cover is not included. Bought separately for 2022. 2) The rain cover is not included. Bought separately star 2022 3) Mosquito net is not included. 4) with the backrest unfolded, there are slots on the sides of the rear wall - it blows. 5) very poor maneuverability on loose soils: snow, sand, gravel paths - the stroller is buried by narrow front wheels. 6) poor design of the front swivel wheels: the load is not on the ball bearing built into the hub, but on the plastic parts, which eventually cut off and begin to wedge. It is treated by regular disassembly, cleaning and applying a thin layer of graphite grease, otherwise the stroller starts to scour around. 7) a disgusting narrow pocket on the back flap - what is put there can be buried - the hand does not fit into it.
