If you want to make a cup of coffee but sometimes don't have the extra time to follow the coffee brewing ritual, then this is for you! For many years I've been pouring craft specialty coffees from Verve, Blue Bottle, Equator and others using my favorite Hario dip dripper with Fellow Ode and an improved set of SSP grinders, largely following the style of James Hoffmann bit follow the Rao improvisation. My wife really enjoys this delicious coffee every day, but never dared to learn the nuances of using these methods to brew her own cup on the days I wasn't around. We subscribed to Cometeer, which was handy (frozen specialty coffees delivered to your door), but you don't have the same freshly brewed feeling as you do now. To solve this problem, I frantically searched the market. for a one-cup coffee maker that's pretty damn simple and can brew just the right size coffee for a freshly brewed batch. Yes, we enjoy several brews a day. I've looked up and down, Ratio Six, Ratio Eight, Breville Precision, Technivorm One Cup and a few more. Also, my coffee bar is busy with Profitec 700, Eureka Specialita for my espresso drinks. So my available space and my motivation for another device was low. Now, with this little device, a great meat grinder, and another Stagg ekg, I feel like I have a backup plan for my needs. I made my first drink today and was blown away by its simple design, yet it solves the fundamental problem of making a near-perfect single cup.
