very thick, even in warm climates

This resin seemed very thick to me. I'm in Florida and it's about 85-90 degrees outside and this is stored and used in an air conditioned room at about 74 degrees. I've never seen resin this thick at temperatures like this, except for a really old bottle in the dead of winter. But turns out I love it dick! I paint potted plants and then seal them with resin so watering the plant doesn't damage the paint. The thickness and "stickiness" of this material holds onto the curved sides of the pot more easily than thinner resins. I also need plenty of UV protection as customers can put the pots in a sunny window. I can't tell you if this product actually has more UV protection as I've only been using it for about a month. It dries to a glossy and fully transparent finish. I like that there is no odor and no VOCs since I use it indoors. It's a pure 1:1 ratio, which is good for my old brain. I put a very thin layer on my pots and hit it with a heat gun so I didn't have any blister problems. But whenever I make too much resin, I pour the excess into a votive candle mold. This is a deep mold, but since I only put a small amount of resin in it, I'm not limited to using deep casting resin. Anyway, as an experiment, I stirred a bit to see if there were any bubble problems and I got tons of bubbles. Then when I poured it into the mold, the bubbles didn't come out by themselves. I suspect it was because of how thick and sticky the resin was, they just couldn't rise as it was too thick. Overall I like the thickness and added UV protection for what I do.
