Review on Next Danco HYR271T Hydroright Handle by Mack Cruz

Advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, this product has its pros and cons. I bought several of these because of the design. All new cisterns are filled with less water, about half as much as old cisterns, apparently for environmental reasons. The more gallons in the tank, the easier waste drains, which is why I'm replacing all of my toilets with this design. The water from the normal value of the damper comes out at the side, when the damper is lifted, this type drops the water, so it has more power to pull the drop down. This was a huge plus for me as my kids throw everything down the toilet from too much toilet paper to a two person deep sea diving bell. Then again, I find it overpriced, about three times the cost of the side valve design. And here's the important thing, this doesn't work with cisterns that have a handle on the front because the handle in this kit sticks out too far and the toilet seat will bang against it and end up marking/denting the toilet seat. It works with handles attached to the side of the tank. I bought both the handle design and knob design, the handle is easy to pull and the dual flush works well. The button design is very difficult to press, especially when you are on the toilet and reach back. I don't see how younger kids have enough strength to push the button design. On the plus side, it's very easy to install. Like I said, it's expensive, but maybe that's why they call it "The Throne".
