There is very little information in the description of this product. I bought this to keep my Great Dane from reaching the tip of the tail. About 3 inches of his tail was crushed and then amputated leaving a very long tail with very tempting stitches to lure my dog in and ruin the surgery. Unfortunately, it has a very long body and snout and could still easily curl up and reach its tail and even its hips while wearing a new collar. That collar didn't even slow him down. The problem with this product description is that it does not tell you if the collar will fit a smaller neck size than the one listed. For example, my Dane has a very long neck at 19 inches. The collar for this neck size is only 5 inches wide which in no way reaches from my bitch's ears to her hips which is required to keep her neck steady. Had the product received the correct installation instructions, I would have ordered a 32"8" width. If tightened to fit a smaller neck, the width would probably be enough. However, since the description is missing, I return and get a refund, which is a loss for everyone.
