Review on Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV 285/50 R20 116T winter by Petar Moysov ᠌

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

The Dunlops that were tested for six different winters were not available in the requisite sizes (perhaps as a result of geopolitics). In terms of the height and sparsity of the tread, the breeches do not give reason for optimism; however, we will watch and see what happens.

Pros
  • Produced in Japan, which offers some cause for optimism in light of the fact that haka tires tend to shatter after only a year of use. And in regard to wear resistance in general, Bridgestone is doing quite well. When compared to mud bighorns, they are a relatively quiet species.
Cons
  • The Blizzaks are nothing more than road slicks when contrasted with the previous Dunlop winter ices. There is no height, and there is no tread sparsity. However, if one were to judge by the products now on the market, all "suv" tires would be of this type.
