Review on Extech EX350 True RMS MultiMeter with Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) - Professional Edition by Jeremy Romero

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It turned out to be vastly superior to the old EX330 range.

I got this meter out of curiosity. It turned out to be a far superior product to the old EX330 range. It is functionally very close to the Fluke 115 line and is now built to a higher standard including HRC fuses (compared to the glass fuses used in previous lines). Reading accuracy is now much tighter. The EX330 may be within spec, but it's still pretty bad. Use the 1.024V reference as the standard and although the EX330 would measure 1.018, this EX350 is now actually measuring 1.024V. Enabling the RMS function also makes a big difference. Unlike the Model 330, this instrument does not have thermocouple measurement capabilities, but given the significant "latency" of the 330's readings, this is a negligible loss. Meter.
