Brightness is good and I was lucky the connection to my original trailer lights was the same so no splices. But as others have said, the cheap, flimsy, flimsy vinyl mounting flange ruined all positive reviews. Potential. My trailer had standard sized holes that fitted very snugly into the original rubber flanges. The flanges that come with these lights would not hold the lights in place unless they were glued in place and then glued the lights into them. A rough road and they would be dangling in holes. Luckily the lights are tight enough in my original rubber mounts that I don't have to worry. I added a few pieces of silicone just to be sure. If you're doing a fresh install with them, make the mounting holes a little smaller, or buy a tube of silicone to glue things in place.
