I compare these glasses to more expensive glasses and they are totally justified. I will buy more. The only thing I still don't know after 6-8 rides is how scratch resistant they are - no scratches yet, although I've gotten pretty good at not hitting my glasses. Visually they are great. What I really like is that they are photochromic/transitional but not too dark. Here at PNW, many of the rides start in the trees, head out into the sun, and then you're back in the trees on the way down. Often there is a mixture - from light to shaded to light to shaded. I found they get dark enough that I'm comfortable in bright light, but not so dark that I'm blind when I return to the shadows. And yes, they are absolutely 100% darker, as they should be. Tall glasses with photochromic lenses get darker, but for me that's not very good for what I do.
