I bought the Pilot in 2021 and knew I needed a protective glass for the large display. I've seen several reviews about it cracking and blistering. I haven't had any of these problems. A bit awkward to align due to the size and volume control, yes, a bit. If you make a mistake or have a few blisters, will it break when you try to take it off? nope I had to take it off completely twice and halfway again so I could reattach it bubble-free. Are there a few microbubbles when you're done with that, around the edges, yes. They go away? Yes, after two days all the microbubbles are gone and I have no problems. Here's what to do to make the installation as easy as possible. First make a complete detail of the interior of your car. Vacuum, mop and clean any surface. Reduce the amount of airborne particles in the car. Second, change your clothes to something fresh so you carry around as little litter as possible (pet hair, dust, etc.). Also bring some fresh microfiber towels and a spray glass cleaner. I recommend invisible glass. Third, close the driver's door and wait a minute for something in the air to settle. After that, use a cleaner and a microfiber cloth to clean and prep the screen. Clear it of all debris. Small individual dust particles, hair. all of that. Fourth, prepare the adhesive side of the screen protector and first align the left side with the edge of the screen, gently press down while slowly following the screen protector to the right. If you see a bubble, gently and slowly pull the protective sheet to release the bubble, then start again by pressing the attached side. Do this along the entire length. Fifth, if you see microbubbles, work them to the edges in a rolling motion. Once there, they should be gone in about a day.
