perfect gate - good looking and safe!
nice looking so much so that i forget its there. its simple and easy to install. we liked it so much we got the same one for top of stairs. note we have a banister on one side of the downstairs - but we didnt need an adapter! just use the pressure mount for 1 side (wall side) and then screw/drill the other side into the banister (it allows for this). it works well. just wanted to note that you dont need the adapter sold separately and either way that looks bulky and horrid in my opinion. this mounts to banister if you are ok with a screw in the banister. getting the upstairs one installed today. love this.Note: DONT cut the cord tie until the whole thing is installed.
