Review on ๐Ÿš— Enhance Ride Comfort with Monroe 40034 Specialty/Electronic Shock Absorber by Doug Virden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

In August I noticed I had an air spring compressor.

In August I noticed that my air spring compressor on my 2003 GMC Yukon Denali (72,000 miles) was running much longer than usual. I also noticed that with the supercharger running, the rear (stock) shock absorbers didn't raise the rear of the truck, but the supercharger bled air. After checking prices for this particular shock at auto supply stores and at a GMC dealer ($375-$550 each), I couldn't believe the price in Revain ($196) for the Monroe. I ordered shocks from Revain and when they arrived I installed them within 90 minutes. Now when the engine is started, the compressor turns on for about 5 seconds (if there are passengers in the truck, it turns on for about 10 seconds) and the rear shock absorbers raise the rear of the truck to the correct height. I will definitely order Monroe shock absorbers for the front axle.
