Review on IDRYBAG Waterproof Backpack Floating Dry Bag – 20L/30L, Roll Top for Dry Gear – Ideal for Kayaking, Boating, Rafting, Swimming, Hiking, Camping, Travel, Beach by Tyrone Lyons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very dry bag, minimal backpacking, quality

The iDrybag is a well-made dry bag made from thick, durable material. It has a deep inner zip pocket and a pair of flat open side pockets. There are no outside pockets, except for a bottle holder that closes with a zipper. The outer pocket has a well-covered zip, but does not close. So weatherproof for sure, but the outside pocket will leak if submerged in water. Nice sturdy carrying handle on the side. Although advertised as a backpack, it has no back padding or panel, just two attachable padded straps. Good for a short walk on the beach, but not something you'd want to use primarily as a backpack. It's more of a highly versatile stuff sack than a waterproof backpack. I work outside in the rain so this iDrybag is perfect for carrying my lunch, electronics, spare batteries, heavy gloves, etc. I can even put on my heavier work raincoat. hardly in. Small enough to be easily carried around and out of the way, but big enough to carry all my personal belongings to a workday in both dry and rainy weather. Very happy with the stuff sack, especially for the price. Excellent value for money. I am only giving it one star because it is advertised as a backpack in which it is minimally adept. But as a versatile stuff sack - five stars.
