I've had Mitivac for about 20 years now and it still works great on car repairs so I figured it would be better to use it for flushing fluids than for assembly from fishing bottles. THIS BOTTLE IS NOT SEALED! Fully tighten the top, the vacuum will not pull. I ended up cutting a square piece of material from a disposable nitrile glove, then cut a 1" diameter hole in it to use as a gasket covering the top and threads on the bottle body and pulled the top over the nitrile Celebration. Then I could use it. Then it creates a vacuum and can draw liquid to itself. As if it had to be designed for that. Too bad Mityvac's $13 plastic bottle doesn't have the precision or quality control tolerances that go into a 99-cent soda bottle cap.
