I sincerely believe that quality shoes are so important for everyone, including children who are still growing and developing. I was looking for something high quality but also affordable for a child who will likely outgrow the shoe before "making money" on a more expensive item. DC shoes are a good brand name and tick all the boxes I was looking for. My friend's daughter has been wearing them for almost two months now and she loves them. Her mother told me that she likes that her child can easily put them on and take them off by himself and that she doesn't worry that she will walk around in unlaced shoes in preschool during the day and trip or that loose shoes will rub on her ankles . etc. They also withstand being hit by children. Runs, runs, plays with no problems. The soles are made of good material, don't slip on wet surfaces like some cheaper soles do, and show no signs of falling apart anytime soon. I recommend this product
