Review on Hunter Dempsey 44-Inch Low Profile Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light, Remote Control, Brushed Nickel by Nicole Brand

Ordered this fan for a room with a low ceiling. I particularly liked that the height from the bottom of the fan to the ceiling was listed as 11 inches. It is actually over 12 inches (see my attached picture). It's a tedious fan to install so I won't be returning it, but it's annoying. I have installed many fans in the past. It was one of the most tedious setups I've ever had to do. I love that the mounting bracket has a hook/hinge that holds the device in place while you wire it up. Normally you should have 3 hands. There are many reviews that the light is not bright enough. If you press and hold the light button on the remote, it will slowly toggle from dark to light. I think a lot of people overlook this in the instructions. The light is bright enough. The remote control is quite ugly in design and color considering it is a very modern stylish fan. The remote control bracket can be attached to the existing switch cover (photo attached). In general I like it very much, but I'm only giving 3 stars because of the imprecise dimensions, which was my main reason for buying this particular fan/lamp.
