I don't write product reviews but these are great steak knives. Having purchased several disappointing kits, I am aware that there are many poor quality products out there. It's actually better than expected. The non-serrated blades have an instant lustrous edge and as someone obsessed with the blades of their knives I was very impressed. The knives have a deep finger guard which I appreciate and the handle is nicely shaped and heavy. The design of the knives is well thought out, as is the high quality Apple packaging - I mean it's really good - making these knives a really great gift that looks more expensive than it is. You can't go wrong with this.
