At first this pitcher appeared to be of good quality and durable. The lid will not "snap" in place unless you twist it, but if you twist it too hard the lid will crack or crack and you won't be able to snap it back in place. Approximately 35 days after receipt I am sorry to report that the handle broke when I was carrying it back to the fridge, the jug fell and splattered all over the floor. The returns window is now closed. Summary: This is NOT a good quality jug that will last. Rather spend a little more and buy a higher quality glass or jug.
