Quality as expected

Fair Warning I have done some CNC machining. OK, so the quality is exactly as expected for this price range. Unfortunately, an error occurred in the CNC program, or one of the CNC machines has worn parts, the workpiece was clamped incorrectly, or something else happened because there are two nice V-notches on both sides. trunk. The end mill obviously accidentally hit the sides, and it looks funny. I'll live with it, it's not worth the hassle of replacing it. Otherwise, it seems to be a pretty solid device overall. And solid, because this 60mm version weighs the same as my old 90mm stem (139g with bolts). As such, not much optimization has been done for weight loss. It's ok, I wouldn't expect it to be heavily optimized, FEA analyzed etc. One thing is for sure, it probably won't break. I mean not if I can't get this gravel bike over a 50 foot gap. Regular quality screws, same quality as other low level stainless steel screws. Can't complain too much. However, the pockets where the heads and washers are supposed to sit are not properly handled at all. That makes some heads sit prouder than others. There's still a lot of threads in there and nothing is too wobbly so I'm assuming the clamping forces are good enough, just looks weird. I wish the threaded holes were a little stiffer, but then again, it works. The extremely thick anodization (is it really anodized? I'm afraid to even ask at this point) kind of ruins everything. You can tell it's just a different fit and finish than the expensive stuff. All in all it put my handlebars where they should be and they probably won't break, so good enough right?
