Review on πŸ’» Upgrade MacBook Air (2013-2017) with M.2 NVME SSD Convert Adapter Card by Omar Alradwan

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Looks like a quality part but was manufactured

I ordered this and a 512GB Crucial P1 NVMe module to fit a 2015 13" MacBook Air (A1466). I chose this one Adapters decided because the full size board just felt more secure than the shorter adapters. This part was securely packaged in a sturdy plastic box and static bag, there was no physical damage and it was easy to install but I couldn't get the system going gotten to recognize it with a Catalina or Mojave install image Since these adapters are cheap and I had no other way to test Crucial NVMe, I just ordered another M.2 adapter (smaller model from the same manufacturer). .I think.) The new adapter was also described as compatible with MacBook Air A1466 and Crucial P1 NVMe and works without problems.Unfortunately I am sending this part j back for a refund.
