Review on Fel Pro TCS45999 Timing Cover Gasket by Andrew Mack

I bought this gasket set because it included a "quick sleeve" for the crankshaft damper. The kit with this bushing was actually cheaper than just buying the gasket and bushing separately. I originally installed such a set when I was sorting out the motor, but without the bushing. Unfortunately, it leaked, although the wear on the damper was barely noticeable. Now that I've put the bushing on the damper and installed a new gasket, the damper is 100% leak free. In addition, the timing case gasket is a type of rubber laminated to a steel core. Although I did not use the gasket from this kit, I used the identical gasket when rebuilding the engine and it is very nice. No leaks, no sealing required. Very clean installation.B
