Review on LUXE Bidet Universal Toilet Adhesive by Darryl Duncan

After reading some reviews I decided to buy these bumpers although many reviewers said they did not fit well on the underside of the seat. After installing the bidet myself, I saw that bumpers are really needed to align the seat. I note here that I have a wooden type toilet seat with a fully flat painted (glossy white) finish. Based on the reviews, I decided to gently wipe the attachment point surfaces with alcohol wipes to improve adhesion. After waiting a few minutes for the alcohol to evaporate, I marked the mounting points (right in front of the shorter bumpers I had) with a marker. I then lifted the toilet seat, removed the adhesive sheeting from each bumper, placed them in the marked locations on the underside of the seat, and pressed them firmly against the seat for a few seconds. Then I lowered the seat onto the toilet and sat for a few minutes on to get the bumpers firmly in place. Let me tell you, those bumpers aren't going anywhere! I would also like to point out that I only installed 2 of the 4 bumpers towards the front of the seat (just like the original shorter bumpers - there were only 2), leaving 2 as spares should I ever need them. If you are a heavier person you can add 2 bumpers to the back of the seat slightly forward of the seat hinges for extra support. If you clean the underside of the seat like I do, I'm sure these bumpers will stay in place for a long time.
