If you already have a mic stand I'd love to convert it to a 1/4 inch camera mount, that's your device. It is suitable for different devices. I keep one of my tool boxes. Now for the quick mounts for my camera. I am very satisfied with the way this device works, the ease of use. My only suggestion to the manufacturers is that they put something in the camera screw mount to prevent the thumbscrew from falling out when not in use. I keep it in the plastic bag that came with it. However, this is not necessarily suitable for all toolkits. Just something to note. Good device, works as advertised, good price, I am fully satisfied.
