The cost is the only "plus" about this product - I will return and look elsewhere for a better quality product. - The mounting post is too long (yes I checked I ordered the correct model) so the plate sticks out about 3" in front of the bumper instead of the ideal 0.5" - the screw that attaches the base plate The post is too long and therefore cannot be screwed in all directions. Away (I added washers) and so the plate can be turned out of even cheaper metal than you might think - I wouldn't expect it to hold up in inclement weather.
