According to the description it fits my car but the mounting bar was MUCH short for my bumper. I couldn't even get it to catch a thread. Sellers should test models that really suit them.

I would give less if I could. This was advertised to fit my GTI MK6. That's a complete lie, this product is too big and not even bolted to the hitch. Dewhel, please stop false advertising. I will call to get my refund.

I have decided to give this product a good review after risking some mixed reviews. I see some people saying it rotates, so I have an answer: Loctite. It will still take off when you need it, but be beautiful and secure at the same time. And there are 2 adapters for how far it sticks out, I chose the shorter one which is fine. I would buy it again and it costs a lot less than the competition.

Works well. I agree with the assembly problem. The screw that attaches the bracket to the main post is too long. I used a dremel tool to cut the length. The only reason it gets a 4 star rating. I used an open end wrench to tighten the strut into the tow hook. I'll report back after a week of driving. The attached photos show the quarter gap for reference. The gap is visible from the side. But it's better than drilling a bumper.

While this feels like a well made license plate bracket I can assure you it is not. Before I tell you why this isn't good, I have to warn you, NO INSTRUCTIONS COME. I literally racked my brains installing it for the first few minutes until I found a YouTube video of installing a similar product.
