Works well. I agree with the assembly problem. The screw that attaches the bracket to the main post is too long. I used a dremel tool to cut the length. The only reason it gets a 4 star rating. I used an open end wrench to tighten the strut into the tow hook. I'll report back after a week of driving. The attached photos show the quarter gap for reference. The gap is visible from the side. But it's better than drilling a bumper.
