Love this thing. I turned it on and suddenly the fish came alive and swam against the current. When I turned it off, the fish came towards him as if trying to figure out why he stopped. I turned it back on and the fish returned to the position it was in before I turned it off and started swimming against the current again. There's a place they can go if they want to get out of the flow. Now they swim in open areas where they weren't before. Also to those who say that small fish can be sucked into it. NOT RIGHT. Like a filter tube where fish get sick and die, it's possible if your fish are sick or die, but if they're healthy. NO will not happen. I turn it on in the morning after feeding and turn it off at night so they can sleep. So relax folks, let your fish be fish. Now all the fish are busy with their fish business.
