Alexa! Sweep the aquarium

I plugged this into a smart socket and placed it at the bottom of my 75g tank. Alexa will now sweep the tank bottom every hour, throwing dirt towards the filter inlet.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

I don't know why it's called "mini "

I don't know why it's called mini wave generator, it's the same size as others. Works fine with one small exception. Every time I disconnect from the network while cleaning the tank. When I turn it back on it doesn't work, I have to turn it off and try again until the engine starts. Once it is really cool with water circulation.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some flaws

UPDATE: Keeps the reflux going

12/22/2020 UPDATE Even if it's running all the time, sometimes it causes a reflux. What makes it worse is that it interrupts my current and allows the particles to settle before I know it's upside down. and doesn't really push the water out. It will twist and turn, but no water is coming in or out. This happens every 10-15 times at power up.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Repair

don't buy that. for aquarium pumps & filters

isn't bad, I have it in a 60 gallon tank and it circles pretty smoothly in the water, but it's quite noisy so be aware that it's noisy and you have to deal with it. Overall it's worth the price I think because it's a cheap product. ok its been almost 45 days since i bought this wave generator and it has stopped working, the fan is on but there is no water circulation. He literally does nothing. I have to remove it from the tank. I will upload 2 photos when it is off and a video when it is on…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Compatibility

Stronger than I expected but it's good. I used it for 20g.

Stronger than expected but good. I used this for 20g and it's almost too strong for my barnacle residents. I had to put it deeper in the tank and point it up toward the surface. I wouldn't put that at less than 20 gallons. The only drawback is that the side inlets are too large. Small fish can be sucked while sleeping. I lost 2 zebrafish as a result. All in all a really good bait for a public freshwater aquarium.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Low repairability

I have this 55 gallon tank. I was skeptical about buying it as people said it wasn't very strong. I think exactly the opposite, because I would like to do without it a bit. When I first turned it on with my nearly uprooted plants, it took me a while to find the right flow direction and rearrange it a bit. It's been installed for months and it's working great and the reservoir has never been clearer. The fish love it, and the current keeps all the "shit" off the bottom for the filter to suck in.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Nice job 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟

Love this thing. I turned it on and suddenly the fish came alive and swam against the current. When I turned it off, the fish came towards him as if trying to figure out why he stopped. I turned it back on and the fish returned to the position it was in before I turned it off and started swimming against the current again. There's a place they can go if they want to get out of the flow. Now they swim in open areas where they weren't before. Also to those who say that small fish can be sucked…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • No performance

Not suitable for tanks <40G

I bought this wavemaker for my 29g and it's too strong. I placed it an inch below the waterline and turned it toward the front glass and slightly up. However, he almost threw up my plants on the other side of the tank and my guppy fry got caught in the current. Although my Chinese seaweed lovers must have enjoyed the strong current! My plants were bent nearly 90 degrees from the amperage and were eventually pulled out of the substrate (1 inch potting soil; 2 inch Eco-complete). I give this…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Empty
