Review on 🌤️ AcuRite Iris (5-in-1) Wireless Weather Station: Monitor Indoor/Outdoor Climate with Digital Display (01512M) by William Stewart

Viewing angle of the display is not very good. The 5 in 1 sensor never worked properly and has been trying to fix the problem since August 2018. Chat agents (the only way to communicate) are trying to figure out how fast they can move on, rather than actually helping. Once they get confused, which is common, they interrupt you and you're back on hold for another 30 minutes. The sensor goes from full signal to no signal regardless of whether it is 1 foot or 40 feet from the display. After hours of troubleshooting, disassembling the sensor to send photos etc, it was discovered in January 2019 yes, 5 months later that the component's temperature/humidity board could be corroded and causing the problem. Seems unlikely because it's been happening since the new one came out, but I figured I'd get this far why not try it. After postponing the order for a few weeks I asked if you could just replace the sensor after all these issues, they confirmed that was the problem and just said no, not now but in 6 months if it's time I would recommend that you contact another brand's customer service if you even want to call it pathetic and the product isn't much better. I'm a pilot and having a local weather station is an advantage so this weather station goes in the barrel and it's time to find another brand that not only makes a product that works but also cares about the customers. I learned a good lesson if a company doesn't have a tech support phone number and there is probably a good reason to just call them and you should look elsewhere. Very disappointed.
