Worked great on my 2014 Sonata

Update: (15/08/2021) I realize it's only been a few days but just wanted to say my remotes are still working as they did the day I bought a car . Follow the programming instructions. WARNING: Program both or all of your remote controls before testing their functionality. If you check the box after programming the first remote, your programmer will turn off and you will not be able to program the second remote. Thanks Dorman. If you have the door open, at least on my 2014 Sonata, the procedure does not activate the door locks by holding the lock button in programming mode as instructed in the procedure. My emergency lights flashed but the door locks didn't work. However, the programming sequence worked for both my remotes that came with the programmer and my wife's OEM remote. The process took about 30 seconds. Success! SEE THE PROCESS I USED BELOW. The local locksmith wanted $160 to program two remotes. ($80 each) This programmer and 1 remote control cost $63 when I bought them here. Highly recommended! As you can see I saved over $100 on programming and buying another remote. How good is that? PROCESS: I inserted the programmer: the bell rang and the green light came on. I held down the lock button on the remote for 15 seconds. Emergency lights blinked. The door locks didn't work. (The door was open.) I repeated the process for the second console. DELETED DB PROGRAMMER. THEN CHECKED THE REMOTE CONTROL. Both remotes worked great. Time. Just 1 minute. Hope that helps. It's a lot cheaper than reprogramming the remotes at the locksmith.
