I love everything about this thermometer. It has a strong magnet and I keep it by the fridge - it never slips or falls. It's fast/instant reading. The display is large, very legible, and backlit, although I haven't used the thing in the dark yet. By the way: The thing is big, not tiny. This makes it easy to use. I have tested it for accuracy and it is dead accurate - no calibration required. But if it needs to be calibrated, you can do that too! It turns on when you take the sensor out of its storage position. The battery compartment is easily accessible and uses the very common 2032 button cell battery that I keep on hand for other devices. And the price of $6 is especially nice. The ONLY improvement I can suggest is the ability to set it to F by default. There's a toggle to F key that needs to be pressed every time it's used, but it's in a logical/convenient place and toggles instantly when pressed. Definitely not a deal breaker. I wouldn't call it a disadvantage. I can highly recommend and will buy again. If you are considering this thermometer, you will not be disappointed when you buy it. Great price for a quality product.
