Alexa! Turn on the water supply
We installed it at the bottom spout of our water tank. It is an elevated reservoir with a fill line from the city and a second line feeding the house. We ran out of water in town and they turned the water on or off whenever they could. When I went outside to turn on the faucet, since there was no city water, I feared that the tank would overflow when the city water came back on. Backflow protection didn't work on this application so I installed this device. Now when we need water, all we have to do is ask Alexa to turn it on or off.
