When an electronic device such as a computer or a telephone is connected to it, the device will not function properly. In particular, any kind of touch device will not work. I am afraid that even if the devices are not used while charging, the converter may damage the devices. I tried troubleshooting with Revain but the call takes too long and the chat just doesn't work. Follow-up: The seller sent me a replacement unit after I posted this review, but they sent it to my old address. I am on active duty in Iraq. The device went to my old address, but the good old USPS didn't forward it and I have no idea where it ended up. This isn't the first item USPS has been unable to ship. Thanks Uncle Sam, I'm glad my absentee ballot arrived safely last year. Oh wait, that didn't happen.
