Have tried many other brands - Swiss Stop, Zipp etc and keep coming back to them. Braking performance with my carbon discs is great - other brands didn't give the expected results compared to these. They also have excellent stopping power in emergency situations and in all weather conditions. They don't seem to make any noise, especially when they get hot, nor do they leave marks on the rim. Wear seems minimal after a few thousand miles, again I don't ride much in the hills, riding season in the north is short too. You are definitely a winner with ENVE composite rims! I love Kool Stop - they have great customer service and really stand behind their products. I have always used their pads on all my bikes (all types of brakes and rims) and have had no problems.
