You get what you pay for

Bought to use on cross stitch fabric. I started embroidering and the pattern seemed elongated so I turned the fabric and tried again. They should look the same. Warp and weft seem unequal. The template shows half squares, but they look like half rectangles. Do not buy. It was cheap and in this case I got what I paid for.
