I have not tried to use or calibrate it before so these are preliminary considerations only. The instructions are insanely poor and written in seriously broken English. I don't mind deciphering it a bit, but if you plan to sell products in other countries, it's wise to at least make the instructions understandable. Based on other reviews, it appears that a separate probe needs to be calibrated, even if it's unplugged when calibrating the main sensor. I imagine driving myself insane by performing numerous calibrations with and without an external probe connected. Totally unsatisfied if I got it right after numerous attempts. prefer/need precise guidance, especially with the number of complaints that the external sensor may be inaccurate. ;} I would also like an indication of when to keep the external sensor inside. I roasted my last thermometer by leaving it on the grill.
