Not sure if this would work but I'm happy to report that it works fine in my Dell E5540 51mm x 30mm mSATA slot which previously had nothing. I now have 2 drives, dual boot, I use that as my main operating system and the former hard drive mostly as backup storage. Win10 Pro installed from a bootable USB stick created with the Microsoft.com media creation tool. Very satisfied. Why isn't there a screw? Pulled out one of the hard drive screws but seriously can't put a screw in it? We've been using it for 3 days now. Calm. No hard drive noise unless I'm accessing a backup hard drive. Would recommend and buy again. If like me you have an empty mSATA slot, why not upgrade from a mechanical drive to an SSD? Worth the money IMO.
