These bags are extremely foldable and require additional gorilla straps.

If the bag isn't full, it's difficult to buckle up my bike without extra straps as it folds up. it's already up! I wouldn't recommend using it as a day bag with multiple items as it's difficult to get to things on the bottom and you have to lug everything out. Maybe suitable for slow bags in tents etc. I'll find some large plastic bottles or other container and use them inside for stability. Hope it works
