This solved an issue I had with a lower quality device. Pros: Two oil scraper rings and a gasket seal the structure well. the best angle to attach the hose. Cons: Requires a 1 1/2" socket or wrench. There are no instructions so no torque information is provided. I just installed it so it was a snug fit and there were no leaks. I guess my thought was that the tightness should be about the same as an oil filter.You can always hit it a little more if you have a leak.Suggestion: Clean and lubricate the gasket and block surface the same way you installed the Oil filter Also oil any internal seals as they will rub against the internal brass shaft Note which fitting is inlet and which outlet is so you fit the hoses in the correct orientation I used Loctite 592 and Loctite Klean 'N Prime. on threads This is a high temperature pressurized oil mixture and Loctite 567 did not hold.
